Hunting knives, camping knives, pocket knives, fish hooks. Instrustion: 1·Diamond Stone Grinder Instructions Use water or non-petroleum based honing solution as your sharpening lubricant. Stone can be used dry. Do not use petroleum based oil as a lubricant. 1. Pull out the diamond sharpening part, hold the handle, place your blade on the end of the stone at the desired sharpening angle. 2. Push the blade by moderate pressure. Repeat this pushing stroke 3 or 4 times. Try to maintain the same approximate angle with each stroke. This is the key to obtaining the sharp blade. 3. Sharpen the other side of the blade by placing your blade across the opposite end of your stone and repeat previous steps, this time pushing the blade toward you. 4. Repeat these steps until you think your blade is truly sharp. |
2·Ceramic Rod Instructions: 1. Remove the plastic cap at the bottom of the sharpener and take out the ceramic rod2. Pull out the sharpening parts of the sharpener and place the grinder on flat surface. 3. Select the sharpening surface you need (tri-angle, half round or flat). Insert the rod firmly into the hole with the same sharpening surface. 4. Place your knife blade on the left inside the rod about 0.5 inches from the top of the stone. Hold the knife at a 90-degree angle to the base. 5. Pull the blade down and across the ceramic rod starting from the back of the knife blade to the tip of the blade. Repeat this action for about 8-10 strokes. 6. Repeat this stroke on the right inside the rod to sharpen the other side of your knife. 7. Repeat the steps above until your knife is sharp enough.
3·Carbide Sharpening Instructions: 1.Place the sharpener on a flat surface and firmly hold the sharpener with your hand while keeping your fingers behind the finger guards. 2.Place the knife blade in the sharpening solt with 90 degree angle, draw the knife from the heel of the knife to the point with average pressure. Raise the handle of the knife as you get near the tip of your knife to ensure maximum sharpening effectiveness. 3.Repeat these steps 3 or 4 times until your knife is sharp enough.
·CAUTION 1.Avoiding excessive force, to prevent the hand tool or hook encountered. 2. Please put the knife sharpener and knife beyond the reach of children to avoid any accidents.
·Special Instruction 1. Use the triangular shaped edge of the ceramic stone for serrated knife. The triangular edge will grind fluently, even extremely small serrated knives. 2. The V-shaped groove is for grinding the fishhook. Place the fishhook in the V-shaped groove and grind until the tip of fishhook is sharpened.
